Our selected train was set to depart from Egmore Railway Station at 5:45 PM, but we are getting late & rush, we hurried to catch an auto to the suburban train station.

With just 15 minutes left to catch our train, we decided to take an auto and negotiated the price down to 120 Rs for a 1.9 KM ride. We reached the station at 5:44 PM, with only one minute left to catch our train. In a hurry, we sprinted towards the platform and saw the train slowly moving ahead. Determined not to give up, I caught the train just in time. As I looked for my friend, I saw him also running to catch the train. Eventually, we both made it onto the train, but the experience was far from pleasant.
